The Westmark tea infuser with lid is a plastic strainer with a stainless steel mesh that sits in your mug for brewing loose-leaf tea. The special lid holds in the heat while the tea steeps and then doubles as a drip tray, so you can set the infuser down without drips. It suits all kinds of tea, including fruit and herbal blends.
Place the infuser in the mug, add the leaves and pour in hot water at the temperature recommended on the tea packaging. Cover with the lid for the steeping time, then turn the lid over, lift out the infuser and rest it on top.
Empty the leaves straight after use and rinse the mesh with hot water so the holes do not clog.
