Belogia MPT 160 590ml – Handleless Inox Milk Jug

The Belogia MPT 160 is a handleless stainless steel milk jug: you hold it by the body, which gives the barista great freedom and control over latte art movements. At 590 ml it lets you texture milk for two drinks at once or for one large latte, which makes it one of the most useful sizes behind a busy bar. An insulating sleeve protects your hand from the heat.

How to use it

Fill the jug with cold milk to roughly the base of the spout, leaving room for the foam to expand. Start with the steam wand tip just below the surface to draw in air, then lower it slightly to create a whirlpool. Stop at around 55–65 °C, tap the jug gently on the counter, swirl until glossy and pour straight away.

Care

Remove the insulating sleeve and wash the jug and sleeve separately with warm water and a mild detergent. Dry both thoroughly before putting them back together.
