Chemex CM-1C Classic Coffee Drip Glass – 3 cups

The Chemex CM-1C Classic 3-cup is the classic hourglass-shaped glass pour-over coffeemaker, designed for full-flavoured coffee with clarity in the cup. It is a single piece of heat-resistant glass with the traditional wooden collar and leather tie. With a 473 ml capacity you can easily brew for 2 or 3 people.

How to use it

Place the filter with the three-layer side towards the spout, rinse it with hot water and pour the water out through the spout. Use a medium-coarse grind, start with a bloom and pour in stages. When the flow stops, lift out the filter and serve. For 2–3 people, start with a ratio of about 1:16.

Care

Remove the wooden collar before washing. Wash the glass with hot water, mild detergent and a bottle brush for the lower bowl, then rinse well. Avoid sudden temperature changes.
