One spot on the counter for the whole tamping routine: the portafilter sits firmly in its cradle for distribution and tamping, without tipping and without the spouts touching the counter, and next to it the tamper has its own pocket so it stays clean and does not roll. It fits 58 mm tampers, distributors and portafilters (the most common size on professional machines).
